Museum Membership

​Personal membership supports the education initiatives, exhibitions, and programs of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library.
All members enjoy unlimited free admission to the Arkell Museum. Other benefits include invitations to member events, discounted admission to most programs and a 10% discount in the gift shop.
The Arkell Museum participates in the Empire State Reciprocal Museum Program. Members of participating museums receive free admission to the Arkell Museum, and Arkell members are able to visit other participating institutions for free.

Membership Categories:

Individual - $40
Benefits: Free Regular Admission to the Museum plus:
  • 10% discount in the Arkell Shop
  • Membership to the Empire State Reciprocal Museum Program 
  • Receive all Arkell Museum mailings for events and activities
  • Invitations to Member events

Dual - $70
Benefits: All Individual benefits for two adults
Family - $85
Benefits: All Individual benefits for members of a household
Associate - $100
Benefits: All member benefits for a Family plus:
  • Invitation to attend a special reception or program

Sustaining - $225
Benefits: All benefits for an Associate plus:
  • 2 Guest Passes for one-time free Museum admission

Contributing - $500
Benefits: All benefits for an Associate plus:
  • 4 guest passes for one-time free admission
  • Invitation to attend a special preview reception

Benefactor - $1,000
Benefits: Basic benefits for the household and Contributing membership plus:
  • Membership in Winslow Homer Society

Arkell Circle - $2,000 & Up
Benefits: All benefits for an Associate plus:
  • Membership in Winslow Homer Society
  • Reduced rental fees for facility rental
