About Storytime on Your Time

Storytime on Your Time is a brand new podcast created by The Canajoharie Library and Arkell Museum. This early literacy program is designed to have the fun of storytime right from the safety of your home!

Each month there will be two new stories to listen along with. The podcast episodes will be uploaded here on the first and third Tuesdays of every month.

Each storybook can be borrowed from the Canajoharie Library, pick them up at the front desk so you and your little one can read along with the recording. Also, great for those young listeners who can't get enough of the same story!

Heather’s favorite number is two. She has two arms, two legs, two pets—and two mommies. When Heather goes to school for the first time, someone asks her about her daddy, but Heather doesn’t have a daddy. Then something interesting happens. When Heather and her classmates all draw pictures of their families, not one drawing is the same. - Amazon

And Tango Makes Three by Justin Richardson
At the penguin house at the Central Park Zoo, two penguins named Roy and Silo were a little bit different from the others. But their desire for a family was the same. And with the help of a kindly zookeeper, Roy and Silo get the chance to welcome a baby penguin of their very own.
