Quick Vote Facts:
Vote is on May 20, 12:00-9:00pm at the Canajoharie High School. It will appear on the same ballot as the school district but is voted on separately.
If vote passes the budget is not voted on each year. Instead will only go for a vote should we ask for an increase.
We get the least amount of tax funding than any library in the whole state
You currently contribute $950 (less than 1% of our budget) in taxes to the library. The average library in our area gets 50% of its budget via local taxes.
If passed we will be open more hours, triple our book, DVD budget,
hire a programs assistant to hold more events, replace outdated computers and more!
