Facility Rental 

The Arkell Museum has two indoor spaces available for rental, alongside extensive gardens and grounds. The Museum provides a perfect location for a wedding, ceremony, meeting, corporate retreat, seminar, banquet, or social function. Our Memorial Garden has been a favorite location for wedding photographs for generations. Make your next event a memorable one by letting the Arkell Museum at Canajoharie serve as your host. Classroom Space

The classroom is the perfect space for small lectures and business gatherings. The light court located in the Memorial Garden allows natural light to flood this private room located in the museum’s lower level.
Capacity: 20 seated at tables; 30 seated in classroom format.


Great Hall

Large, open with natural light pouring in from the museum’s high windows this space is a unique location for banquets, wedding receptions, business meetings and seminars. Your guests will be surrounded with beautiful historic artifacts of the Mohawk River Valley. The crowning feature of the space is the one-of-a-kind floor that is a painted map of the area.


Capacity: 160 seated at tables (banquet style); 180 seated in lecture format; 36’ x 72’=2,600 square feet
